- LIGHTING
TECHNICIANS
Prerequisite: You will have a solid background in lighting (2
years) and will be familiar with theatrical, conventional,
intelligent and motorized lighting.
Major assets: Programming, rigging, CAD design, production
management and installation experience. Post Secondary
education.
Positions: Full time and part time positions available.
- VIDEO
TECHNICIANS
Prerequisite: You will be familiar with all aspects of video event
production (2 years) including camera operations, LCD projectors,
screens, and mixers.
Major assets: Editing, switching, directing and project management
experience, ownership of a professional camera and editing system.
Post Secondary education.
Positions: Part time positions available, which will lead to full
time for the right candidate.
- SOUND
TECHNICIANS
Prerequisite: You will have a background in event sound production
(2 years) and will be familiar with consoles, speakers, amplifiers,
effects, and DJ systems.
Major assets: Mixing large format concerts, festivals, special
events. Sound system installation experience. Post Secondary
education.
Positions: Full time and part time positions available.
- DJs &
VJs
Prerequisite: DJ experience (2 years) mixing a wide variety of
music of music, especially Top 40, and classics. Must have own
car.
Major assets: MC skills, beat mixing, personal music collection.
Sound, lighting and video equipment knowledge, plus Post Secondary
education.
Positions: Part time positions available, which can lead to full
time for the right candidate.
- PRODUCTION MANAGERS
& CREW CHIEFS
Prerequisite: Minimum of 2 years experience managing event
productions involving sound, lighting, video, staging, and
sets.
Major assets: Advanced knowledge and skill in sound, lighting and
video systems and technology. Post Secondary education.
Positions: Part time position, which can lead to full time for the
right candidate.
- WAREHOUSE
STAFF
Prerequisite: Must have a minimum of 2 years of shop experience in
the event industry.
Major assets: Truck driving, advanced knowledge of sound, lighting
and video systems and technology. Post Secondary education.
Positions: Part time, which can lead to full time for the right
candidate.
- GENERAL
TECHNICIANS
Prerequisite: Must have a minimum of 1 year's experience in the
event production business, with a basic knowledge of sound,
lighting, video.
Major assets: Truck driving, truck packing, site coordination,
advanced knowledge of sound, lighting and video systems and
technology. Post Secondary education.
Positions: Part time.
